To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and highlight the dedication and professionalism of our Members across the country and beyond, the National Police Federation today released a limited-edition, coffee table book titled “Why We Serve: Stories of Today’s RCMP Members”.
Saskatchewan RCMP: on duty in your community
At approximately 1:30 a.m., an officer with Meadow Lake Combined Traffic Services Saskatchewan (CTSS) conducted a traffic stop on 1 Avenue W. in Meadow Lake. The officer observed unstamped tobacco in the vehicle and the adult male driver and adult female passenger were arrested.
During a subsequent search of the vehicle, officers located and seized approximately 13 grams of cocaine, a sum of cash and trafficking paraphernalia in the vehicle.
NPF Recommends Necessary Investments to Support RCMP and Public Safety in Saskatchewan
Last week, the National Police Federation submitted its pre-Budget asks for 2023-2024 to the Government of Saskatchewan, calling for strategic investments in policing that support Saskatchewan’s growing population and evolving public safety needs.
